Therapist Affiliate Marketing

<< Therapists Need Therapy Clients  Therapist New Questions >>

Todays video on Therapist Affiliate Marketing discusses different ways in which you can make additional revenue from your web site by offering products targeted to you clients.

These products can be either physical, whereby they are shipped to your clients, or digitally downloadable so that they can be downloaded immediately.

I much prefer affiliate marketing products that are digitally downloadable as your clients are able to get them quickly and easily.

Finding products to promote should be your first port of call. There are many
companies such as:-

1. Clickbank

2. Commission Junction

Once you have selected a product, you then need to buy it and try it out. Don’t worry, if the product does not do what it says on the tin, then you usually have 28 days to get a refund.

If you feel that the product will add value and is appropriate for your clients, then you might want to become an affiliate.

After you have registered with the affiliate merchant, then you can get your affiliate links for that product and incorporate them into you web site.

Enjoy the video and leave a comment if you have anything you want to ask.

I’m all ears.

Do you know any therapist who has done Affeliate Marketing on their web-site? Is this conflicting with any rules made by the BBS? Anything I need to watch for?

Hi Susan, I know that my partner (business and life) Dawn Pugh of DawnPugh.com includes affiliate marketing on her site and she wouldn’t mind me telling you that she does very well out of it. Obviously the products that you’re an affiliate for need to match your site. So for example if you wrote a blog post on anxiety or panic attacks then you could include an affiliate link to a downloadable e-book on that subject.

One tip. Make sure that you try the product yourself before you recommend it to your clients.

As far as the BBS is concerned, I think it would be wise to discuss what you are doing directly with them so that you are sure that you are not violating any of their membership rules.

Hope this helps

Hi Susan,

Would you be interested in a course I’m putting together on affiliate marketing?
