In this video I talk about creating ways to make your wib site more sticky by creating content that engages your readers.
It is absolutely vital that when a potential client reaches your site, that the page they land on reflects what they are looking for. We are all busy people and we want the information that we’re searching for as quickly as possible.
If we get to a page and it does not have what we are looking for then we back out within a second or two.
Thats why its vital that your web pages are engaging and hold the interest of your visitors.
Have a look at the video below for more information.
Many thanks for the comments yesterday regarding the problems you are having with your websites.
If you are trying to attract potential clients who are looking to Find a Therapist in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago or any other area where you operate from, then you might want to read the following.
Based on the feedback I got from the previous post and the emails I received, there seems to be 2 main problems which are :-
1. A lack of potential clients visiting your websites.
2. The inability to turn those clients into fee paying clients.
Before we even think about driving clients to your website, we need to ensure that the pages they will be landing on are setup correctly. By setting up correctly, I mean that there are 4 basic things that you need to check on each page before we do anything else. They are as follows:-
1. Check that the page title has the necessary keywords that people are searching for. If you were a psychologist in Brooklyn New York specializing in children with ADHD, then you would use those 5″keywords” in your title (Psychologist,Brooklyn,New York, ADHD,Children). i.e. Brooklyn Psychologist Specializing in children with ADHD.
2. Next check that you have a appropriate keyword rich description of what people will find on that page. This can be found in the source code at <meta name=”description”
3. The next thing to check is that you have all the keywords you wish to rank for in the meta name = “keywords” found in the page source code at <meta name=”keywords”.
4. You should then check the page content. The content of the page should be written naturally and not stuffed with lots of the same keywords. i.e. Don’t repeat DONT repeat the same keyword over and over and over again as you will be penalized. Just sprinkle the keywords over the content and make sure you include them naturally.

pps. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this then ask your webmaster to do it for you. Alternatively, we could get one of our team to sort it out for you, but we would have to make a charge.
