Can Multiple Births Cause Depression? – Recent research is indicative of mothers who give birth to two or more babies as being more pre-disposed to suffering depression than mothers of one baby.

Yoonjoung Choi, a research associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health states that;

“Our findings suggest that 19% of mothers of multiples had moderate to severe depressive symptoms nine months after delivery, compared to 16% among mothers of singletons,”
